Ride with the Syndicate and enjoy intensity without fanfare.
For a flavour, check our blog here.

Some mountains are meant to be visited, Savoie’s are meant to be ridden intentionally and with great respect for the altitude that shapes you as you climb.
The Savoie Cols Syndicate was born from that understanding, a collective of like minded travellers who share a deep connection with our high passes. Founded by a person with a long relationship with these roads, your days are curated alpine expeditions, insider routes that deliver and with a level of guidance that feels more like being invited into a club.

What to expect

All members of your party must be in excellent physical condition. On arrival one easy day of acclimatising at base camp altitude must be ‘endured’ before we get into the serious meat of your trip. Usually a short spin up around the lake to Tignes, the home of Team Visma Lease a Bike here in the Alps.
Standard days will average 100-150 kilometres and around 4000m of elevation gain. The group pace will be tailored to the slowest rider in your crew, with free fly rules to attack cols to the summit. You are a posse and we aim to keep that logic in mind as we regroup throughout each day of your stay.

If a Grand Tour happens to be in the area during your week, we look to include that if it is of interest and happens to be on one of the famous cols you want to include. This summer we took in stages of the Giro, Tour and even the Vuelta. For people booking next summer, Alpe d’Huez is a stage of the TDF in 2026.

We cater to groups of between four and ten in alpine comfort. Epic views, open fireplaces, Zwift to warm up/down and plentiful bedrooms with en suites. There is also indoor bike storage if you are bringing your own machine.
All coffee and restaurant stops are included, and we end every day with a three course chef prepared sit-down meal. The services of a local professional photographer and drone pilot will be arranged for one full day of your choice and the edited footage will be presented after your holiday.
The structure of the week is generally five full days touring the area, sandwiched between arrival (acclimatisation) and departure days.
